Video Cards
The main function of the video card is to generate images to the display monitor. The operation of the video card is same as that of the sound card and other peripheral devices.
The video cards provide better display of any object of picture in the display monitor. Video card will consume some memory and in some case the memory for the video card is integrated and known as video memory also known as video RAM. Those Video cards not having integrated memory used the computer RAM. Video memory is used to store the screen images. Since the use of video cards consumes huge electricity and due to this heat is produced. For reducing this heat effect lots of cooling devices are used, namely heat sinks, computer fan and water blocks
