How to hook up Car subwoofers and amp in my home theater?

Home Theater
Burninrock asked:

I have two 4 ohm subs and a 900 watt RMS (at 2Ohms) amp. I was planning on wiring them in parallel down to my 2 ohms when i set them up in my car, (but i wont get that until fall) so i want to put them to use by hooking them into my home theater system. Can I do this?

make sure your entertainment center receiver can supply / support enough wattage first…

get you a set of wires and 2 RCA or HDMI or composite plugs….cut the wires and make your own wires to plug set…then plug them into the receiver…and you’re done…really not that hard

All you need is a AC/DC converter, and a Pre-amp.
