		<description>It&#039;s pretty simple really: you just need a 12v power converter box.  The amp&#039;s red &amp; black wires - the ones that give it power - screw into the back of this little box.  Here&#039;s an example (currently listed on Ebay):



I used that exact model box when I did this very same project when I was younger, btw.  Worked great. ADDED BONUS: If your receiver has a spare power outlet in the back of it (a more high-end feature), just plug in the converter box into it for power...and everything will turn on and off at the same time your receiver does!
